well... it's been a while, hasn't it? (*deliberately doesn't check when the last entry is from bc that'd just be depressing*) guess i'm back though!
a lot of stuff has happened, but most of it is kinda bad... mainly the part where during my most important exam someone fainted and they did all the first aid stuff (and then some) during the exam, in the same room, so i got nervous as all hell and couldn't concentrate and i ended up failing by two points. the uni ofc refuses to see that as a valid point, so now there's a lawyer involved and... ugh, i really didn't want any of this, and it's really getting me down :/ there's so much uncertainty and awfulness surrounding all that and... ewwwwwww. do not wanna. why meeeeee *whines*

err. anyways. looking forward! since i don't know when i'll actually get to redo that exam, i'm gonna keep studying for it a little bit but imma mostly focus on myself... exercise and stuff. and also writing! so the idea is to study two hours six out of seven days, go to the gym six out of seven days with an hour of cardio and half an hour of weights, and that leaves enough time in the day for writing and... video games :D oh and also therapy visits and chores and some sleeping on occasion, and watching pixlpit on twitch and st: discovery and growing my herbs.

oh yeah! in terms of video games! i sorta impulse-bought a switch and breath of the wild! that was pretty great! it's my first console ever, and apart from the ... > 30hrs i did on wii sports like ten years ago, i've never even touched a proper console (not counting the ds or 3ds). so that was a bit of a learning process :D but botw was really really worth it so far... it's so pretty *,* and a lot of fun despite me literally being unable to fight. i just smack monsters with my weapon until i eventually either die or win. it worked fantastically against ganon though, and now i'm in my second playthrough... nakey, no map, pro hud only and no fast travel, and my first divine beast is gonna be vah naboris. so many mistakes at once :D
also the best part of that game is that you can feed apples to your horse! and you can pet it! how amazing is that! also the horse animation and the riding animation look really good (except for the reins. link. fuck's sake, tighten your reins! also your stirrups need to be shorter :| who taught you how to tack up your horse!).
oh, also the noodl bois? big dragon snake frens?? they're the BEST! i first found farodra during my first playthrough when i was crossing the bridge of hylia, and everything was wide and open and me and my trusty horse were cantering along and then the music changed from the riding music to the dragon theme and then i saw them just worming along there and that honestly blew my mind <3
i also do like that zelda is like, "link pls help me hyrule needs you" and link goes and buys a house first :DD like... "oh zelda you need help? well let me buy a house... help build a town... find this kid's toy... cook for another kid... this lady wants a picture of this monster, yeah, let's do that... what was that you needed again? oh, to help save the world. whoopsies"
also though... ganon is a bit of a pushover if you've gotten all divine beasts. or maybe that was just bc i had like 25 hearts when i went to mess him up. :D

in other entertainment news, i finally read part two of the stormlight archives, and MAN i'm in love with that story now. part one was good, part two was GREAT! i need to get part three reaaaaaally soon bc god it's good. it's so good. (i'm also kinda sorta a little bit gay for syl. don't tell anyone!)

and finally, my little planting project :3 i don't have a garden, so i'm limited to a very tiny balcony, and i only have a kitchenette, but i managed to plant a whole bunch of little dudes anyways. mostly edibles, because i already have 15 other green frens. so i got a rosemary plant from the supermarket, and then i sowed cress, basil, chives and oregano and also planted an onion and two things of garlic. the onion was a bit of an accident, because i visited my parents over christmas and new year's, and when i came back it had valiantly been trying to grow despite being in a completely dark cupboard, as had the garlic, so i decided i'd reward such initiative by planting them. it's been really cold outside recently though, and i put them into the planter on the balcony, so... well, i really hope they'll be fine :<
the herbs are doing alright so far though... except for the basil, which is a bit slow, but what can you do.

i think that's about all i have to tell for now? so let's see how the next time goes!
